Offers a variety of services including: Child Protective Service (Child Protection Services non-emergency report number: 1-866-442-2095 and all emergency child abuse and neglect reports call 9-1-1), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). An Adult Services & Aging staff member also comes to the Eagle Butte office from Pierre. DSS also provides information about other state of South Dakota programs.
